TECHNOLOGY
Sidewall Construction:
The integrated sidewalls ensure better energy transfer, greater precision and structural stability. They distribute pressure evenly along the entire length of the ski.
Result: the torsional stiffness created by the integrated sidewalls enhances the ski’s performance.
Rocker Camber Rocker:
The traditional camber profile distributes pressure evenly and gradually from the tip to the tail, maximising edge grip throughout the turn.
Result: it allows you to lean into the skis to feel the edges and the power the ski unleashes.
Dura-Tec:
The tip protectors, made from thick, textured aluminium – a cosmetic material – and the rounded shape of the upper edge stop contribute to the longevity of your skis.
Result: these protectors are designed to extend the lifespan of the skis.
Trueblend Flipcore:
The wood core has been designed to optimise flex and offer a soft, balanced feel. This technology enables Blizzard to produce high-performance skis that are still easy to ski. Each product range features a distinct Trueblend configuration to optimise performance, control and safety.
Core construction:
Poplar – Beech + Titanal plate + Carbon
DESCRIPTION
Blizzard’s iconic model, the Bonafide 97, stands out for its versatility, responsiveness and agility!
The Bonafide 97 is the perfect ski for intermediate skiers looking for a freeride ski with a reasonable sidecut to maintain good performance on the piste. This ski incorporates all of Blizzard’s most advanced technologies. The combination of Carbon Flipcore technology (unidirectional carbon fibre at the tip and tail) with two Titanal plates and a very solid wooden core (TrueBlend Flipcore) makes the Bonafide a real powerhouse. What’s more, the denser wood underfoot and softer tip will allow you to push it to the limit and combine speed with manoeuvrability.
The Bonafide 97 is a ski that stands out for its performance and alpine character, with a flatter tail than the other skis in the Rustler range. This gives it greater tail presence, better grip and superior responsiveness. Its shorter radius compared to that of its big brother, the Cochise, makes it more manoeuvrable, which can be useful in the woods or on narrow freeride runs.
In short, the Bonafide 97 is a ski for good to excellent skiers; it is versatile and will allow you to ski intensely on the piste or in freeride terrain, in all conditions.
