Blizzard's Rustler 9 (Flat) is far more than just a freeride ski – it redefines all‑mountain versatility. With a centre width of 96 millimetres and a radius of 17 metres (at 180 cm), this ski offers superb performance on hardpack and firmer snow, yet excels in powder and variable terrain.
Thanks to the innovative FluxForm construction, which integrates two Titanal sheets running along the entire ski length and tapering toward the tips and tails, the Rustler 9 delivers precise edge grip and underfoot dampening, while allowing the tips and tails to flex freely—ensuring the ski remains both stable and lively.
The wood core, known as TrueBlend Free Woodcore, blends beech, poplar, and paulownia woods in a strategic layout. It features three flex zones—softer in the tip and tail for effortless turn initiation and release, medium around the bindings for added control, and stiffer underfoot for outstanding edge hold and responsiveness.
Equipped with Rocker‑Camber‑Rocker and a full sidewall design, the Rustler 9 offers strong flotation in soft snow, combined with excellent edge hold and stability on firmer terrain .
The design is no less impressive: external Titanal is extended to the very edge, absorbing top-edge impacts and minimizing chipping—ensuring both durability and a refined appearance. Blizzard’s attention to detail is evident—no compromises in technology or aesthetics.
