DESCRIPTION

Liquid perfluorinated wax for competitive use. To be used for snow from -3°C to 0°C. Air humidity from 60% to 100%. Excellent as accelerator and corrector at the start on powder waxes or fluorinated paraffins. Recommended cold application with merino wool rollers.
APPLICATION METHODOLOGY

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

The application of hydrocarbon paraffins (Med or Soft Racing Base or BP1), fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffins (LP2 or HP3) and perfluorinated waxes FP4 allows certain overlaps based on the following chemical affinities:
Hydrocarbon paraffin alone (Med or Soft Racing Base or BP1) or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin alone (LP2 or HP3) or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Perfluorinated wax FP4 alone or mixed with other perfluorinated waxes but in any case superimposed on fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin (LP2 or HP3).
The direction in waxing operations must always be from the tip to the tail of the tool.
Race waxing can be carried out hot or cold depending on the physical state of the products and the experience of the skiman.

COLD APPLICATION METHOD WITH MERINO WOOL ROLLERS

- Spray the wax with at least 10 sprays onto the 5 mm or 10 mm merino wool roller, rotating it slowly. (the choice of roller depends on the friction to be generated);
- Then roll the slab surface from tip to tail with forward/backward movements at a speed between 1000 and 1500 revolutions depending on the pressure exerted. Roll until the slab is completely saturated. Repeat the application twice, dividing the slab into two parts;
- Wait a minimum of 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify;
- Brush the insole with forward/backward movements, applying pressure with a stiff horsehair hand brush;
- Brush and polish the insole with manual or rotating brush made of horsehair or soft nylon;
- Polish the insole with a 10 mm merino wool roller. (use a different roller from the application roller).

COLD APPLICATION METHOD WITH CORK PAD AND HAND BRUSH

- Spray the wax onto the slab over a length of approx. 15 cm. at a maximum distance of 5 cm. making about 2 applications every 5 cm;
- Then rub and press the wax into the dispensing area while it is still liquid using a cork pad (the MT0111 pad/brush is useful) and repeat the operations along the entire slab;
- Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify;
- Brush the insole with forward/backward movements exerting pressure with a stiff horsehair hand brush;
- Polish the insole with a manual horsehair or soft nylon brush;

HOT APPLICATION METHOD WITH HEAT PUMP - AIR HEATER GUN

- Spray the wax onto the insole over a length of approx. 15 cm. at a maximum distance of 5 cm. making about 2 applications every 5 cm;
- Then allow the still liquid wax to penetrate into the dispensing area by rubbing and pressing with a cork pad (the MT0111 pad/brush is useful) and repeat the operations along the entire slab;
- Melt the wax by performing a tip-to-tail pass in rapid succession with the heat pump - KZ07000 at a recommended air temperature of 500°C.;
- Remove the melted wax with a stiff brush (buffer/brush MT0111 is useful) and melt it again by performing a second pass as before;
- Then roll the slab surface with a cork or polyester roller at a drill speed of between 1000 and 1500 rpm depending on the pressure exerted;
- Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the slab to cool and the wax to solidify;
- Brush the insole with a manual or rotating stiff horsehair brush;
- Brush and polish the insole with a manual or rotating brush made of horsehair or soft nylon; - Polish the insole with a 10mm merino wool roller.

The use of a face mask with cartridge filter is recommended to avoid breathing in fluoride carbide vapours.
